Support
Thanks for using Becoming Canadian. The best way to reach us is by email at support@zarochintsev.com.
Reporting a bug
Email support@zarochintsev.com. A useful bug report includes:
- What you were doing when the problem happened (e.g. "I was taking a Standard Test and tried to submit").
- What you expected to happen.
- What actually happened — copy any error messages verbatim if possible.
- Device and iOS version (Settings → General → About). The app requires iOS 26.0 or later.
- App version (Settings → About → Version).
Screenshots help. Crash logs help even more — see the section below.
Requesting a question correction
If you spot a question with a wrong answer or an outdated fact, email us with the subject line Content correction. Include:
- The question ID (visible on the explanation screen as
pXX-qNN). - The fact you believe is wrong and the correct information.
- A short note explaining the discrepancy.
Sharing a crash log
The app automatically sends anonymous crash and performance diagnostics to BugSnag by default; you can turn that off under Settings → Crash Reporting, and the full details are in the Privacy Policy. Separately, Apple's own on-device diagnostic logs are not transmitted by the app — they stay on your device unless you share them. To attach one of those Apple logs to a bug report:
- On the device that crashed, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data.
- Find a file beginning with
BecomingCanadian-…. - Tap it, then tap the share icon and AirDrop or email it to yourself. Attach it to your email to us.
Feature requests
Tell us the use case rather than the implementation. "I'm preparing for the test in French" is more useful than "Add a French toggle in settings" — context helps us pick the right fix.
